We left Cedar Rapids early this morning, had a quick layover in Chicago, and made it to Boston with pretty smooth travels and no real issues. We're thankful for a good travel day!
After checking into our hotel, we met up with my mom and her husband, Jeff, and walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner together.
The highlight of the day for Isaac, though, might have been our unexpected stop at West Elm. 😂 Grandma thought it looked like a cute store to browse, so we all wandered in. Well, Isaac discovered what I can only describe as the softest faux fur blanket any of us have ever felt! He was immediately obsessed and decided to spend his own money on it.
So now Isaac has a ridiculously soft, cozy blanket to snuggle up with while we're here in Boston. Sometimes it's the little things that bring the biggest smiles. ❤️
We're grateful to have arrived safely and to enjoy a little family time together before the days ahead. Thank you for continuing to pray for Isaac and our family!
