Today, Wednesday the 21st, Isaac had his pre-op appointments at Boston Children's Hospital, and everything went really well! We're so thankful for the wonderful doctors and staff here. They've been great with Isaac!
One of the highlights of the day was watching Isaac and the anesthesiologist go back and forth about how quickly he'll fall asleep tomorrow. 😂 Isaac is convinced that with enough willpower, he can stay awake long enough to count to ten after they give him the anesthesia. The anesthesiologist assured him he'll be out well before he gets to five!
Of course, Isaac isn't quite ready to accept defeat and is already trying to figure out how he can win this little challenge. It was pretty funny watching the two of them go back and forth!
Isaac continues to be in such good spirits, which has been a huge blessing. We're grateful for his attitude, the wonderful people caring for him, and how smoothly everything has gone so far.
Tomorrow is surgery day, and we would appreciate your continued prayers for Isaac, his surgical team, and a successful surgery and recovery.
